Hello, and peace to all this season.
Steve: Tonsil Cancer Stage 2: HPV
Well into the last day of week 2. It's starting to move on now. I have some mild side effects, but nothing unmanageable yet. Mainly a regular cough. I have had no need of pain medication yet. I know I am lucky to know how to cook and eat well, I have seen many things that have shocked me. In general my mood is balanced, I can feel some irritability at times, but I recognise it and breathe.
I have been practicing my swallowing techniques, but, to be frank, I was a brass player for 40 years and my mouth is strong..
I have noticed some symmetry returning to my face, and my lymph nodes seem softer. I am awake most of the night. Not with anxiety or pain, but just awake. I need to nap more,
My partner has a cold and I'm guilty she has to drive again. On the whole though I'm counting my blessings.

Hi Stephen. One day at a time just make sure you’ve pain meds if needed as it’s invariably Friday night or a long weekend when if it strikes.
Enjoy Christmas yes swallowing exercises are invaluable .
