I have seen a few posts on cough and mucous. Firstly it is an unpleasant side effect that I do not miss. Still get it a bit after 6 weeks post treatment but keeping well hydrated definitely helps. Also hospital lent me a nebuliser and that does help loosen things up. It does get better so if you have that problem it will improve.
cheers

Yes it does get better. Mine went fairly quickly. Drinking well helps. I got a lot of relief with diet ginger ale which was refreshing as well as broke up the gunk. I managed without a nebuliser and just steamed my towel wrapped head over hot water. A humidifier next to the bed can help too
