Hello dear people,

i was thinking of you while we were in Croatia and Australia.
So, thats the reason I wasn’t with you guys Wink

I had my first PET scan last week, and oncologist was happy and positive as all is good. Still have ulcer at the place was cancer,  and he said all good, but have to monitor after he take camera in..

So, i am seeing my surgeon on the 13th, another PET scan mid Jan.
I am feeling great, eating almost everything, tasting all, still don’t like chilli or papery Smile but, I don’t mind. Tried sip of alcohol, yuk hehehe

Having acupuncture amazing dr., so dry mouth symptom is getting there, and no sips of water by night yuppie

I think, thats it?! Oh yes, I can’t really put kg on, but oncologist said with my cancer (even by researching trying understand why not), but it doesn’t know why doesn’t work like with others. Anyway, i am getting to my normality- very energetic and doing all stuff etc. Still waiting for dental appointment, but dr said at least 6 months.

Hope you are all on the good path…love to all Sunny

Hi Marta  I didn’t lose much weight with treatment anyway

Your doctors are doing another scan to check the small ulcer

I had one. Some trusts re scan after an interval others biopsy straight away which is what happened to me . My biopsy showed no cancer

maybe, i got to excited about it Persevere

  • Glad to hear from you Marta and sounds like you're doing well! I had my PET CT scan yesterday (it was odd being told I'd be radioactive for 8 hours!!). I have to wait 2 weeks to see my oncologist, so trying not to worry but it's hard to switch my mind off from it completely. I will continue to think positive thoughts!!

I lost about 12kg (but was probably a few kilos over weight!) so I am now in a size 8 and fitting into some clothes I haven't worn since before being pregnant Smiley I can eat anything, but not as keen on chocolate and prefer coffee instead of tea, which is quite strange! I don't like the taste of wine any more, but I can drink sparkling wine/ Champagne and I like Baileys! I haven't bothered trying beer or spirits as I didn't like them much before anyway.

Have a lovely Christmas xx Helen

  • Hi Helen. Fingers crossed for your results. I’m sure they will be fine though it doesn’t make the waiting any easier. Hugs
