Moved from SSCC to a normal ward yesterday so progress on track. Will write more when it takes longer than 34 minutes this felt like if didi thanks for kinds messages.

Good to see that you are starting that long road to recovery, Time is the great healer (along with physio and all the pain relief you can have!). After my dissections there was rapid recovery from much of the surgery then slow progress for the remaining bits until around 18 months when I suddenly realised I was almost back to normal and any residuals really did not worry me. Listen to your body and do as much as you can, but don't be afraid to rest when needed.

Update from ward 111! It is mad how both time stands still and races on. trache out, doppler out and hoping for staples and drain out next. Feeding tube but moving down from 20 hrs to 13 allegedly!
