On day 6 now of post op and am starting to feel a bit more with it now. 14 hour surgery. Kept asleep till the following mid morning. Had a couple of small issues my lungs didn't seem to wanna work properly so more ct and xrays but all on the way vack the right way now.
Both drains are now out of my neck which is great as them things a pain. Catheter out (very ouch)
Still being tube fed but am now on sips off water through my mouth so hopefully all going the right way.
Well done one day at a time you’ll be on the road ti recovery.
