Hi everyone, I had a review over 2 weeks ago , dietitian was very pleased with me as I’m eating much more & I’ve put on half a stone , she said carry on doing what I’m doing & my rig probably can come out this week .I had another review Wednesday but it was a different dietitian to who I usually see , she was pleased with me & said I only need 1 ensure a day now , to see how I go this week & she will ring in 2 weeks !! I’m not using the rig at all anymore , it’s just sitting in my stomach doing nothing !! I’m still continuing to eat & put on weight , should I get back in touch with the dietitian on Wednesday as that will be the week & ask for it to be removed ? Xx
Hi Aly. Well done on eating and putting weight on. Yes it can’t hurt to ring and ask what’s the worst they say No but at least you’ve tried. What are you managing to eat now. Just look how far you have come I remember Dani snd I saying 6 weeks can be a turning point.
Fingers x you get it out. If not just kerp it flushed and carry on eating and drinking.

Hi Hazel I’ve been eating for the last 3 ish weeks but a few mouthfuls , I’m eating more now . I’m eating fish , good old frey bentos pie , the soft pastry , omelette, quiche , chocolate puddings I’ve got my sweet tooth back whoop whoop , I’m still flushing once a day but it just seems pointless just sitting there tucked in my knickers hahaha plus I miss giving my grand babies a cuddle on my lap ! Xx
Hi Aly won’t be long until you are doing. Yes it’s strange how sweet stuff is easy to eat. I git a real taste for custard tarts , vanilla slices apart from the icing in top too sweet. It was a pleasure when I ate my first square if dark chocolate .It’s the little thjngs that matter. Try poached eggs on mashed avocado on slice of toast. I also found marks and Spencer’s Cumberland pie with lots of gravy ok . Salmon cooked 2 minutes a side was easy as well. Plus Jaffa cakes dipped in coffee l
Onwards and upwards as we say. always brushing our teeth as we go along the way lol

Yes, it's strange. I'm much better now but for a couple of years I couldn't taste sweet things properly. I'm a beekeeper and love honey. I was beside myself with grief. then as my sweet taste returned I couldn't actually tell how sweet something was, just that if it was too sweet, like your icing, it simply felt unpleasant in my mouth. Now I'd happily just eat a pudding if I go out for dinner!

Hi Dani yes puddings are my go to as well. Never was before I was a savoury girl. Although need to watch now had they go straight to waistline if I’m not careful. I won’t give up my squares of chocolate though.
