Ai, today isxthe day! I quote: 'multiple extractions to accomodate RT" As yet I haven't seen anybody from the Maxificcal Team, so until I get to the hospital I have no real idea how many!!!! Right now I am trying to stay very calm but I'm terrified!!!!!

Hi ,,, I found it emotionally quite hard having the dental assessment and surgery prior to my radiotherapy treatment but now 6 months on I am grateful that my poor teeth were removed before treatment started, They would never have survived the radiotherapy treatment and would have been a constant source of worry and discomfort. So all in all a necessary and eventually positive thing. And besides , my teeth were not the best to ne fair ..........
