We did it    Last week I cycled 100miles to all the hospitals involved in my treatment, Bedford Hospital diagnosis and where my CNS is based, Luton and Dunstable where I had my teeth out, Lister Hospital where I had my RIG feeding tube fitted and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre where I had 2 chemo and 30 radiotherapy sessions.
This week I'll be out running for the first time since I started treatment. I'm also looking for the next challenge

    Well done

Just goes to show life goes on. It’s worth making the effort to be what we were before cancer.

  • Thanks Dani,

It's just a case of accepting that you may be in the slow lane for a while and plenty of recovery. I'll get back into the fast lane in good time and I'll enjoy the journey getting there.
