Hi , me again…
very sad and scared… I missed one chemo due to covid 2 weeks ago, had one last week and today I missed again as my wbc are low…. Waiting for radiotherapy but as my cancer is stage 4 , aggressive I’m so worried that it is not enough treatment for me.
I have appointment with my consultant tomorrow but can’t wait…. Have to say that I did not have much support today….
Hi Barbara.
It’s fairly routine to miss chemo sessions. Lots if people do. It’s the radiotherapy that is the main event. Chemotherapy is a side show so try not to worry.
As Ray says ask tomorrow.
Good luck and let us know what they say?

Hi Barbara. As others have said don’t worry radiotherapy is the main even for head n neck cancers. I only had 2 out of a planned 3 sessions. Chemo therapy is as Dani says a side show I know many who only only had 1 or 2 of a planned 5. Don’t stress please.
