Ha. No beard Bob but the hair at the nape of my neck grew back pretty quickly.

Beard on my face is pretty much what it was but I still have less growth on my neck than before, cuts shaving time which I'm all for!
My brother (who apparently I very much look like) sports an extremely smart stubbly beard; whenever I've tried to grow one I look like a scarecrow (wife used to say I looked like the wild man of Borneo), it's very annoying.
Metastatic SCC diagnosed 8th October 2013. Modified radical neck dissection November, thirty-five radiotherapy fractions with 2xCisplatin chemo Jan/Feb 2014. Recurrence on larynx diagnosed July 2020 so salvage laryngectomy in September 2020.
Hi Bob,
No beard for me but last year my hay-fever was worse, as no nasal hair! It wasn't until after treatment when I realised I'd lost half my eyelashes too. The big bit was nape of neck, it was completely bald. I've logged my re-growth on Instagram, almost shoulder length now, but it has come bavk curly and the rest is straight!
My doctor told me of a man with ginger hair who's beard grew back black! Apparently all to do with the follicles being affected by the rt.
Strange how the anniversaries pop up. I went back to work a year ago tomorrow, just my PET and remission anniversaries to go.
Hope you are well.
Gill
