My experience with Propolis.

I have been asked many questions regarding my partners (46yrs old) experience with using propolis, so I thought I would write a bit on here publicly so everyone can see it. I am not medically trained so it is only our experience with using it. My partner had neck dissection after hpv16 was diagnosed. He had 30 radiotherapy sessions over 6 weeks. I did research online about a month before he started, using words radiotherapy, neck cancer and propolis treatment came up, trails done in other countries looked very promising so we decided to get some in and try it. He stated using it straight away before treatment started. mouthwash with the propolis liquid in a little hot water 4 to 5 times a day which he continues to do, he has just finished radiotherapy and will keep it up till he his eating a good diet.. All I can say after reading many peoples stories on here that he did not get any bad side effects like many others. He had hardly any mucositis, none that he could not spit out and only ever in the mornings. He has no soreness on swallowing, it is only the taste that puts him off eating. His mouth is in good condition with two tiny white patches on his tongue that cause him no pain. He has continued with everyday life really well apart from when his feeding tube went in and caused problem's. He was using the cream on his neck and was doing well till the end off week 5 when they gave him some cream from the hospital. He decided to try it just the once and it did not suit him, he had a bad reaction and it stung instantly, he kept it on stupidly for an hour and it burnt his skin more. Needless to say he went back to the propolis cream, his neck is sore and he wishes now he had stuck to the propolis cream. It is a natural product, tastes disgusting, smells worse but it seems it worked for him. We got it from a company called medino online we used beehealth, i found it the cheapest, many others sell it too. We bought the liquid, the throat spray and the cream although watering down the liquid slightly to put on his neck now its sor,e as i can spray it on rather than having to rub the cream in. He continued to drink all sorts all the way through, no pain, he can feel a little swollen in the mornings again no pain. His voice is perfectly ok no different. The horrid side effects that scared him to death he seemed to have got away with,  We do know it can continue for a few weeks and get worse but praying it doesn't.

After saying all this I hope it helps someone else too but again I am NOT medically trained I just did my research and it helped him.
