Great about the teeth. I was so pleased I didn’t need any out either especially after the horror stories in here where folk had all their back teeth out. Ouch!!
Best foot forward Barbara. Lots of people here to help you along. Hugs

That's very good news about teeth! I think I'm going to need 2 wisdom teeth out as they're partially erupted and compacted (both top back) as oncologist said 'better to be cruel to be kind' and take out now as much easier! He's following up with the dentist on the x-ray to confirm. The only thing that worries me is it hold up treatment as need to heal for 3 weeks. xx
Hi Helen don’t worry about any delays if your teeth do need to be extracted it’s better now than after treatment. A delay of 3-4 weeks in scheme of things doesn’t alter the outcome. I know Dani was a good while from her cancer being discovered to treatment starting , I was 62 days from referral to first radiotherapy/chemo day.

Hi Hazel - yes, I know you're right, and the oncologist is planning for the best outcome all round - I'm just being impatient I suppose! I hope that the hospital dentist can fit me in soon and I don't end up on a long waiting list.

HinHelen I’ve known them pulled in the same day if need be you won’t be on a long waiting list yiou oncologist will make sure of that if you need them out. Just make sure they do need to be pulled be guided by the team.
