10 months 7 days after my wife being told she had a very curable treatable cancer she has passed away I’m truly heartbroken and lost.
Oh dear Pugmama so sorry for your loss. Hope you’ve got family nearby who can help you.

Hi yeah I do have family I’m just in shock as oncologist was so sure everything was fine and infact she said in one breath the throat cancer was clear but it had spread to her lungs and bones then 3 weeks later her liver was over run .
You will be in shock it’s a worst nightmare situation I hope the oncologist was at least sympathetic when she delivered the bad news.
Hugs Hazel

So sorry to read this, it's thankfully a rare occurance for members of this group, but cancer is a horrible, sneaky bastard that makes its own rules at times.
I know a bit about how you may be feeling having lost my wife suddenly (not to cancer) in 2020, I'm still lost at times; a song coming on in the car can reduce me to floods of tears, it happened today in fact.
Can't tell you how to cope because I still don't know how to myself, but I really do feel for you. Horrid.
Metastatic SCC diagnosed 8th October 2013. Modified radical neck dissection November, thirty-five radiotherapy fractions with 2xCisplatin chemo Jan/Feb 2014. Recurrence on larynx diagnosed July 2020 so salvage laryngectomy in September 2020.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
