My son had further surgery last Wednesday to try to find the source of all the infections he has been getting since his cancer treatment.
He has an appointment next Thursday with his consultant, in the meantime his GP phoned him yesterday to check he was ok. The GP had received the report from the hospital which said the operation was successful !!!! They have removed the sinus which went up from the fistula towards his ear and have closed the fistula.
He will have the stitches out on Monday and hopefully the consultant will verify the operation.
Onwards and upwards now for a full recovery.
Thanks so much to each and every one of you who have helped my family through the journey of this dreadful disease. Your good advice, help and support have really helped us through the dark times.
We, as a family, wish you all well and hope you continue on your recovery.
Thanks again
