A quick update on my son.
He went into hospital this morning and has had surgery this afternoon, to establish the cause of the fistula and the swelling in his mouth and cheek.
He is out of theatre, obviously quite sore, but when he messaged his wife he was sitting up drinking a cool cup of tea.
He will get the results, including what has been done, when he sees his consultant in a couple of weeks.
Thank you everyone of all your support and encouragement over the last several months. It means a lot to know I can come on here and speak about my fears for my son.

Great. Hope he’s sorted. Pity his surgeon’s registrar couldn’t tell him what they had done. I’d be looking at my notes but then I’m nosey
