Hi all I have not been on here for a while as we were getting on with our lives after 2nd lump removed from tongue Mar 20 and first lump in 2018 being removed from neck followed by radio therapy and chemo we were told after 2nd surgery that they didn't get clear enough margins but they were hopeful they had got all the cancer....but found out last week there is a new lump on the other side of my husbands neck and it has travel to spine and lung all lumps being around 1.5cm.. has anyone else had the hpv16 square cell carcinoma spread ?? can you give us any hope ?? Treatment of cemiplimab is starting in a few weeks once they have analysed biopsy TIA everyone
Hi cissy sorry about the situation you’re both facing again. There are a few people here with distant mets who have had good results with immunotherapy which is what your husband is being offered. I’m reticent to tag anybody but if you put immunotherapy in the search box at the top and look for the most recent in the advanced search you’ll find a few threads
