Are there any people out there who have terminal head and neck cancer? I was told in May 2020 that the cancer in my mouth had returned and could not be cured as it was in too many places. Since then I have had various treatments to arrest the disease and during that time I have asked questions on this site and have joined a local head and neck cancer support group. The group is mainly for survivors and people who have finished treatment. I want to be able to chat with people who, like me, cannot be cured and who are facing or experiencing the symptoms of progressive oral cancer.

  • I am sorry to hear that. But I want to tell you the same as to another writer on here you shouldnt give up. You should ask for another opinion first. I am pleased to say that my cancer was cured but still left me in a bad state. I hope you find people here to help you.

  • Hi Kate. I'm so sorry you have ended up in this position. There is an incurable group you could join, HERE but the last mention of oral cancer was 11 months ago.

The other suggestion I could make is to contact The Swallows Head and Neck cancer charity WEBSITE

They have a 24hour manned helpline and I'm sure Chris and Sharon Curtis who run it can point you towards more support

    Best wishes
