BUCEPHALUS HERE,It's nearly 1 month since my last update,when I had only done 7 out of 30 treatments I finished treatment on 13/10/2021.For the most part it was routine and passed quickly.Keeping uphe exercises given,making sure weight kept steady drinking plenty of fluids(NO BEER
).After week 2 started using the anti radiation CREAM FLAMIGEL until about week 4,when I started to use a brilliant bandage called POLYMEM,which really accelerated the healing process.Now from end of treatment to today,I have lovely nurses clean and check neck every day using a new cream FLAMIZINE and putting a new polymem bandage on as required.Still reddish,but no longer sore just a tad itchy and neck looks really good.Throats a bit sore and tend to get Bawking coughing bouts for which I get medication for antisickness liquid and tablets to melt on tongue but it's not really helping.Saliva OK,but mucus at times needs bowl of hot water ,towel over head to clear with steam.Just have to be patient and talk to those that know.Things take time and the older you are the longer it takes.A few weeks ago I did switch to more softer foods to try and clear CONSTIPATION,but ended up on DOCUSATE CAPS and SUPPOSITORIES and just feeling the benefits now .In the end I tried not to get too dependant about them and cut out as much where possible of constipation medicines.Will need to discuss tomorrow with team where to go from here or carry on.More to follow.

Hi Bucephalus. Great to hear from you always. Thanks for the update. Once you’re off the painkillers I’m sure the constipation will settle. The mucous goes as well. Keep on top of oral hygiene too. You’re doing grand.
