new lumps have appeared in my neck,

I think it would depend on where your radiotherapy was targeted in the first place. Mine was very much to one side of my neck, the consultant said If I did develop lumps on the other side I would be able to have it again. 

Have you had any appointments yet about the new pains? 

Hi Billjack and welcome to the community. I'm afraid none of us have the medical knowledge to answer your question and can speak only from our own experience. At 10 weeks post treatment you are coming up for your PET/CT. I would call your CNS and see if your oncologist can see you if you are worried. Best wishes

Thanks for your answer, I have an appointment 25th/ 10th  and pet scan 29th/ 10th  

Mine was targeted to the right hand side, but new lump and ear pain is on the left hand side, so i hope that i will be able to have another course of treatment if required.  I have a follow up appointment this monday and pet scan friday.    Thanks for your reply.

I did not have the same cancer as you but had jaw cancer and had an operation in 2013 and 2019 and radiotherapy both times,  the first time on the right side of my face and the second time on the left side.I have been told that now I cannot have any further radiotherapy.

As Dani mentioned only your oncologist will be able to tell you if you can have more radiotherapy but hope it will not come to that.

I am now well recovered and moving on with my life.
