Just wanted to know if this is normal part of the process or shall I ring someone??? As its Sunday I not really sure who I can contact? Or not to panic at all???

  • Hi all I can say is my temperature went up and down along with my blood pressure varied a lot those first 2 weeks. Do you have a number for on call oncologist at your hospital ? I also got tingle like feelings arms and legs. Is he eating and drinking   that’s vital I thys phase.  If I had concerns I woukd call the above or 111 just to explain

  • I’m the queen of hot flushes. Took two years after treatment finished for for mine to go but if he is spiking a fever then call your contact number would be my advice. If they are fleeting and temporary then they are just like the ones I had and I ignored them.
Let us know how you get on.

  • As a male i had hot sweats that would come on suddenly, i would literally have to strip down and put the fan directly on me until it passed (they would last up to an hour).

I also had dizzy spells when standing which also passed.

As always if not sure definitely call

  • Yep, went hot and cold lots, still do some times. I layer my clothes to help manage it.

As the others have said, any doubts we called the 24hr number from the hospital.

    Hope he's ok. X
