Hi all i just wanted to post an update on my partner.  He has been through so much over the last 18 months.  He had Throat cancer which was treated with Chemo then Chemo/radiotherapy, he started to recover and then we had the news that it had spread to his lungs. He has had Immuniotherapy for the last 6 months and we have just found out that it is not working so it has been stopped.

We know that his cancer in incurable and was treatable but our hopes for Immunotherapy have been dashed.  Now for anyone reading this who is on or about to have Immunotherapy i know that there have been some fantastic results.  Colin is just not one of the opnes that it works for.

When we found out that his camcer had spread and was incurable we decided to try and do as many things as we could. We have been on some great trips close to home in our beautiful Scotland, hired a Motorhome, done the North Coast 500 alothough we managed to do 1200 milles on it and now we have booked a trip to Canada while he is able.  We love Africa but cant travel there due to Covid.  We are looking forward to Canada though and going to Goodwood and Duxford Airshow this weekend.

We dont know what time we have so we have to go for it now.  I went through a stage of not wanting to book anything and to be honest we were restricted anyway with Immunotherapy every two weeks.  I see the light in his face now we have our trip to look forward to and it is only 3 weeks away.

Living the best life we can for now and trying not to think too far ahead.

Stay strong everyone.

Kind Regards

Liz
