Beard falling out

I was told to shave my beard before starting radiotherapy. That was at the start of January. I still have no hair on part of my neck and round the bottom right edge of the jaw. It felt weird not having a beard and my wife, who'd never seen me without one, disliked it. I grew the beard back in July, and the bald area doesn't really show, but I need to keep my neck and most of the underside of the jaw shaved otherwise it looks odd having no hair on one side.

Think this is the worse thing for him now...on the Road to recovery but even his consultant today was adamant that it will more than likely never grow back :-(

That’s interesting as I saw a guy the other day with a decent beard but his neck was clean shaved. I think I could probably manage that as my whiskers grow over both cheeks and my chin.
