Hi All,
Sorry.I haven’t been in touch for a time, I forgot my password and had trouble resetting it amongst other things. However I thought I would update you all. I have tried to keep up to date with what you are all going through and would like to say I feel for you all and to just keep on going. As for myself I am now back at work. I felt really tired at first but my stamina has improved over the weeks. I am off work this week as I also have two brain aneurysms and after having an MRI scan the surgeon wasn’t happy with the results so I had to undergo a cerebral angiogram on Tuesday which meant I had to go in hospital for the day for the procedure. I am now waiting for the results, hopefully not too long. I am also waiting for reconstructive surgery on my face. The surgeon is going to take bone, skin and blood vessels from my left leg in order to restore my top lip. The radiotherapy has made my mouth shrink and made the skin flap that was inserted in my pallet to break down so now I have a hole in the top of my mouth. Apparently it is complex surgery and it may not work as the radiotherapy has damaged blood vessels in my neck and he may need to take some from my right arm. However I feel I need to go through it and hope it works. The other problem will be my mobility as I will feel like I have a broken leg and will be on crutches for some time so will need to be off work again. I may retire haha.
I hope I haven’t bored you all and I will try to stay in touch this time. Hope to hear from you soon.

Good luck. It sounds complicated and no doubt it is but surgeons are pretty slick and very clever so fingers crossed all goes well for you
