Hi I’ve been on this group for a while now after previous breast cancer and then having my ovaries and fallopian tubes removed due to large ovarian cysts. I’ve had displasia on my tongue for 10+ years and many operations biopsies etc - but clear since 2021. I had 3 biopsies taken 2 weeks ago and a phone call from my consultant last Monday who said “I’m sorry but 2 of rhe samples were cancerous” since then I’ve been rushed through a pre up and had an MRI scan yesterday and a CT scan tomorrow. I already have appt booked for 26 Oct with the consultant which were to get the biopsy results and I now think will be to sign consent forms. Short story is I feel like I’m now back to square one - I can’t sleep, my tongue feels like it’s permanently burnt - is that the cauterising from the biopsy? Looking for some advice or tips and hints really to get through the next few weeks from anyone who has gone through or is going through this? I don’t have a husband or partner, no brothers or sisters and both parents are almost 90 and I’m trying to pretend I’m okay and not terrified. Thanks
