Hi, Am new to this forum. Was diagnosed with HPV throat cancer in August 2025, radiotherapy treatment ended in November 2025, gone through Sepsis since and am still in recovery. Been left with a really dry mouth and recently very dry lips? Any tips to help please.
Hi Dawnie, have you tired Xylimelts. They're little tablets you pop onto your upper gum ,it sticks to it and helps with saliva replacement. I use them at night but you can use then during the day aswel. Got them off amazon. Also chewing gum helps with xylitol ,most have it included in ingredients. I chew on it a bit then rest it in my upper cheek. My dentist told me to massage my cheek where the hollow part is in a light circular movement it helps unblocking saliva glands as they get crystals forming due lack of fluid .ive also heard that acupuncture may help , its something that i am curious about and may try myself.
