Hello - all I know so far is am having dental treatment before Radiotherapy at the Christie, although I haven't had the referral yet as only found out today x

Hopefully it’s just a check up. I kept all my teeth for my RT but some people have unhealthy molars in the line of fire extracted. Fingers crossed you’re ok. I’d definitely hang on to healthy teeth 

Have you got your TNM staging? 

Yes I have to have a few extractions but mainly ones that are likely to cause issues later x

It says: Tis: Tumor is in situ 

It’s a measure of how big and where the cancer is. We are usually given it( sometimes we have to ask. It’s available once you have a diagnostic or radiotherapy planning scan. 
Mine was T2N0M0

T being size of cancer N presence of malignancy in lymph nodes and M distant spread.

That’s really shallow. Why are you having radiation and where is the cancer? Sorry I’m being nosey but it does help with advice
