My SCN phoned me today with results of my PET/CT scan i had an MRI 3 weeks ago which showed that the primary site was clear and my right lymph gland was also clear ,however they were concerned that my left lymph gland was still suspect but the other scan revealed all was ok .I still have a problem with my gums where teeth were removed prior to CRT some bone has made its way through my gums and is sore my GP has referred me back to maxi facial dept to have this looked at .I am pleased with the result obviously but somehow i dont feel elated because of the problem with my gums i am also having treatment for lymphedema i feel a bit flat is this normal .
Hi Holidays, getting the all clear that's great news. Hopefully the max facial dept will be able to sort out where you had the teeth removed. Feeling flat is normal, post treatment can be a roller coaster of emotions, you could talk to your GP about it, some people have anti-depressants for a short while. All the best with your continuing recovery.
Ray.
