Eat all the things you like before the treatment starts.... taste and appetite can disappear for up to a year for some.. use this forum for advice and support... Google isn't a good place to seek advice ... make sure you have plenty of pain meds... keep your oncology team in the loop... let them know about any concerns you have... don't suffer in silence.

Hey. I just started my treatment on Monday for base of tongue and nodes. 6 weeks radiotherapy and weekly chemo. Hope goes well for you
