Recurring cancer

Hi Jen. So sorry to read that. I hope the results are encouraging. Did you husband have CRT to cure the throat cancer?

Thanks, he had a full laryngectomy removing his voice box, breathes through a stoma in his neck and had 6 weeks radiotherapy, so this is a total shock

So sorry to hear about the potential recurrence. Waiting for the results of the biopsy and CT scan must be really difficult for you both.  I've had 2 more occurrences of jaw cancer since my first one but all in different places so I understand the anxiety you are both going through. Mine were successfully treated each time fortunately.  I've got everything crossed for you both.

Thank you for your kind words, it is a worrying time ,we can't believe it may be happening again exactly 8 years and the exact month as the first time round , we were getting on with and enjoying life and then this

Sorry to hear about your recurrences and sounds like your a fighter having cancer 3 times and glad you've been successfully treated ,life's very hard isn't it

Update 

Results today confirmed Cancer as returned waiting for PDL1 test to see if immunotherapy is suitable if not it's chemo  

Oh so sorry to read that. Fingers crossed his PDL1 scores are good. There have been some remarkable results. I’m not sure if Prof Harrington’s trial still running but it’s worth checking out.
