  • Hi

welcome to our little community. Things will get better. I have a friend who had a hemiglossectomy and now just speaks with a slight lisp.
How are you feeling in yourself?

  • Hi thank you for your kind words and support, I feel ok at the moment in pain and half my head feels numb which is really strange but I’m doing well, my biggest fear with the speech was that I won’t be able to read to my grandchildren again but your word have given me encouragement so thank you

  • Early days. Just be kind to yourself and give yourself time to heal

Make sure you get plenty of decent painkillers to take home.
