Hi I had base of tongue cancer 2 years ago. I had tors surgery, neck dissection and RT. I’m constantly getting sinus infections I’ve had scans etc and all good. Is anyone else suffering with the same? I’m struggling to concentrate at work!
I'm still occasionally bothered with Rhinitis....common after chemoradiotherapy ...it can persist for months or even years after treatment, it's not as bad as it used to be....rhinosinusitis...part of our 'new normal'?
Hi there. am the same, I have sinus and ear infections all the time. Am wondering if it’s a side effect of the radiotherapy and damage to the sinus. All I have to do is be in close vicinity of someone who is sick and I get sick too. I try stem inhalation, and nebuliser to clear out the cavity.
I would speak to the nurses, they very good at noticing side effects and where they coming from. I like that they know stuff and make u feel visible.
Am 4th year into after diagnosis and still trying to figure things out.
