  • Hi. Sorry to read your sad story.
How long ago did you finish your treatment?
Your arm problem is likely due to the surgeon cutting or damaging the accessory nerve. Physio would help.
Your GP is the right person to contact about your low mood and the physio but I think your hospital team should liaise with the practice to arrange your meal replacement drinks.
Sadly physio places are difficult to get so if you can afford it make a start with a private consultation.
It sounds like you could do with a little extra support so please ring the MacMillan support line and get some more advice there. The number is at the end of my post.

  • It does sound like your are in need of some specialised support due to your previous lifestyle...I would definitely put some pressure (as nicely as possible) on your GP and oncology teams to pave the way to this...you have had to put up with a great deal of suffering in the past and now have a nasty cancer to fight...there is no need to suffer in silence...keep posting...plenty of support on here.
