But yes. That tonsil is abnormal. It’s a rotten waiting game now 

If you haven’t heard about your referral in a couple of weeks chase it up.

Hi and welcome from me.  Only the experts can tell what is going on.  ENT consultants are very good at what they do.  The vast majority of 2WW patients don't have cancer but for now it is a waiting game for you.  The good news is that if it is a Head and Neck cancer although the treatment is tough it has a very high cure rate so there is every chance that you will come out of this OK in the end.

No point in trying to second guess about lumps and bumps, biopsies will probably be taken... waiting for the results is stressful but your oncology team are very experienced and will give you an indication of what's going on... not all lumps and bumps are cancerous and even if they are treatment nowadays is very good....cure rates are high.
