14 weeks post chemo radio still nauseous!

Hi all my husband finished treatment October 31st still only on shakes but recently has started with nausea again. It seems the more energy he gets the worse it is! 

He struggled before with nausea during chemo but medication was causing severe constipation same as the oral morph so he stopped it all. Any experience? Thoughts? 

  • Nausea does take a while to settle down after Chemoradio, antiemetics have their own unpleasant side effects, Laxido is very helpful for constipation, some days it was 3 or 4 sachets for relief. Pain relief meds do their work but constipation is a price we have to pay.

    I was on Ensure 2cal via PEG and orally...it was barely tolerable...glad to see the back of it.
