My partner left me 2 weeks before embarking on a 12 month reconstruction journey. I stupidly chase him but he replied saying he wanted a clean break. I would have dealt with this if I wasn’t going through what I’m going through. I was quite needy and asked for so much reassurance. Has anyone else had relationship issues? I need to find a way to get through this next year .
Hi. I am so sorry you have been abandoned. Some people can just not cope with this and run away. The reasons are never simple. Unfortunately this is all too common. Please ring the support line ( number at the bottom of my reply). There’s help at hand.
Also do you have a Maggie’s near you? The centres are a good place where you can drop in for a chat or even counselling.
