Hi I’ve just recently been diagnosed and have the choice of the operation in two weeks or radiotherapy with a couple of bouts of chemo for six weeks. I’m just wondering what other people have chose. I know it’s an individual choice but I’m just wondering what route people went down and they experience their outcome they’re outlook Thank you
Thankyou just no idea what to do for the best of two evils
Neither will be easy, judgement call only you can make, oncology will advise.... I'm sure others will be on the thread soon with their take on the best route to go down.

Yes, it does the same thing to most of us, takes a while for it to really sink in, staying strong is not easy but we soon galvanise for the effort needed, do you have someone to help you through.

Yes, weekends and bank holidays are not good for sourcing help, try emailing the hospital cancer ward or your CNS.
Yes, a very good idea to make a list of all your concerns, most of us did this, it's a lot to take in, and quite terrifying to start with.
This forum is a great place to find support and sound advice... lots of good people.

have the choice
Hi and welcome
Can I ask how you have been given a choice and how your surgeon/oncologist expect you to make a decision?
Can you tell us more about your circumstances?
