Hi guys , I've just finished week 2 out of 6 RT n am now suffering with pain in my jaw, I think usclers on the inside of my mouth n of course the dreaded dry mouth, looking for any advice on how to alleviate any of these please x
Also , if you are having trouble with toothpaste, I have been because of SLS and strong taste, so it hurt like hell, and the SLS combined with the thick saliva made many mouth froth like I had rabies, or something out of the Exorcist.
I discovered that Curaprox make an SLS free, mild toothpaste. I used it today, and it was fine.
They also do a nice small soft oral surgery toothbrush, which I had for after the maxillectomy and reconstruction which also works a treat. None of it is cheap. But I think it is worth it.

Hope you can get to grips with it all, it's a bit of a roller coaster. I am finding I get a bit overwhelmed every few days and then I get to grips with it, and then it all changes again.
My current fear is not having any recourse to staff over Xmas when I have finished the treatment, but when I am told the side effects will be at their worst
Rxx
