First day on here, just joined. My husband has head and neck cancer, done with chemo and radiation, 7 months out. Over two weeks ago he had a neck dissection to get all the cancerous lymph nodes. So he’s recovering from that. Now the dr said he has micro cancerous cells and will need chemo again, just when we thought that he was done.
he’s 78 so really hard on him, don’t know if there’s any other options, we go to oncologist tomorrow. Has anyone had micro cells and what was your treatment?
Hi Chris. Welcome. So sorry to read of your circumstances.
Do ask your oncologist about immunotherapy. There have been some good results. If his cancer biomarkers are right immunotherapy may help.
