Hi I’m 20 weeks post surgery after having 1/2 my tongue removed and all lymph nodes on my right side and loss of use in my thumb and I’m so tired and feel so low is this normal? Feel so very sad and feel bad as I know I’m very lucky in so many ways but struggling.
Hi Mandy. So sorry to hear you’re feeling so low. What you’ve been through can lead to PTSD and a lot if us find trying to get back to some sort of normal very hard.
Macmillan offer counselling which is free. You might like to have a look at that. It could help
There is also an excellent article written by psychologist Peter Harvey. Have a read. I found it extremely helpful and it resonated with how I felt
