Day 1 Radiotherapy

Hi Sue. You’ve got this tick the days off and inbetween keep popping in. You might need to rope help in a few weeks time re driving. I too was a good hour away if traffic was busy ehuch it was there’s no way I could have driven so remember to look after yourself as well.

Good luck Sue. I was fortunate in that my wife drove me every day from the mask fitting on. I could have driven for the first 3-4 weeks, but really wouldn't have wanted to after that. (I started again about 6-7 weeks post treatment)

Same here. Singleton hospital was nearly a two hour drive on a bad day and though I avoided chemotherapy the days I had SLT/ dieticians/ bloods we were away the best part of a whole day. The last week I slept both ways. My husband was my hero.
