Hi
found out a few months ago I had lymph node cancer as a secondary. Consultant think it’s coming from saliva gland. On Thursday I go in for gland and node removal with neck dissection. Been a really long time getting to this point. Had a meltdown today as I’m very scared. Will have to start radiation too once I’m recovered from op. Need to get through the op and treatment and start looking forward to the future again. Glad I found this group today!
Hi Kazzie I had a urgent salvage neck dissection in late october which I think is more involved and they removed 33 lymph nodes and took everything from my thigh on my leg. It really is a great job they did on me and I have been discharged by the physiotherapist as she said I made an amazing recovery . Just take one day at a time and dont overthink everything. We are all here for you so try not to worry. All the best Regards Minmax
