Hi, Mike welcome to the group from me. It's good that you have had such a good recovery from your surgery. Your consultant will tell you what other treatment, if any is needed, it's a good idea to take someone with you if you can, you can't always remember what you are told so it helps in that way, try to write a list of any questions you want to ask, and take notes if you want to. You can ask anything you want on here, someone will always answer if they can. Keep us updated. All the best.

Hi Mike Well done You as old biker says you have made a good recovery. I had base of tongue cancer but no surgery but Radiotherapy and chemo instead , It depends what they have found and if they got the margins. Whatever they do your in safe hands .All the best regards Minmax

Hi Mike welcome to the club no one wants to join. We’re a friendly bunch.  Here when if your need us. Tonsil cancer lymph node involvement al most  5 years  post treatment.

Hi Mike Think positive is the best bit of advice I can give you. Walking or gentle exercise everyday really helps recovery big time. I think its help save my life. All the Best Regards Minmax

Welcome Mike, yes it's good to have somewhere safe & understanding to come to when the need arises. Waiting is difficult and nervousness can only be expected, I hope you receive positive news tomorrow, but if not, you now have a place to come to where people have, or currently are, walking a similar path, Tina
