Hello All
New to the group. I was diagnosed with cancer of the tonsil about two months ago and had trans oral robotic surgery to remove tonsil, base of tongue 4 weeks ago. Seeing the consultant on Monday to hear what (if anything else) needs doing. I suspect there will be more to come so I thought I'd join and make friends.
Physically I'm feeling well - I didn't realise but I had been very fatigued for some time and that is gone. No pain now and eating nearly normally. Just a bit nervous about what is to come....
Mike
Hi, Mike welcome to the group from me. It's good that you have had such a good recovery from your surgery. Your consultant will tell you what other treatment, if any is needed, it's a good idea to take someone with you if you can, you can't always remember what you are told so it helps in that way, try to write a list of any questions you want to ask, and take notes if you want to. You can ask anything you want on here, someone will always answer if they can. Keep us updated. All the best.
Regards Ray.

Welcome Mike, yes it's good to have somewhere safe & understanding to come to when the need arises. Waiting is difficult and nervousness can only be expected, I hope you receive positive news tomorrow, but if not, you now have a place to come to where people have, or currently are, walking a similar path, Tina
