reforne here . I am here as a consequence of two cancers in the neck. one in my lymphatic system on the other side 8 years later in my neck muscle. I endured two radical neck dissections and 98 radiotherapy sessions into my neck and I am still here. Mind you I am left with 4 major health problems but no matter you learn to live with what you have. The last cancer was in 2016. I have come here to learn and share my experience in the hope others may gain something from it. Best wishes
Hello reforne
Welcome to the Online Community.
I am sure that by sharing your experiences it will help others. Just to know that someone has gone through a similar cancer journey, endured all that treatment and has come out the other side will help. I know this through my own experiences on here.
I am sorry to see that you have been left with some health problems after the treatment. Its not easy. I hope that you are getting some support with them. You may well find on here that others are facing the same and you may be able to share your experiences with them.
If there is any further support you need please do get in touch and someone will point you in the right direction.
Take care
Jane
Thank you Jane,
I have managed chronic pain , a functional neurological disorder, aspiration pneumonia, and a major endocrine problems for more than a decade, and am at a point where I have to take stock of how my health needs are managed. I have a wealth of experience true but also a powerful need to learn more.

Hi Lisa
Welcome to the group. Sorry to hear about your husband's throat cancer. There are lots of people on this forum who will have experienced something similar so there is a wealth of information. I was so glad when I found this forum 3 years ago as like you it made me realise that I was not alone and the support I have found here has been marvelous. You can ask any question and there is no judgement just understanding.
Best wishes to you and your husband on his journey.
