Surgery and Recovering Slowly

I'm still reeling from the shock and somebody needs to thump me on the head to prove I'm sane. Had biopsies couple years ago of visible tumor under tongue and white stinging, bleeding massive sore eating up and over bottom gums, came back benign. Three years later; Throat feeling weird, burning on tongue and necrotized saliva and floor of mouth visible when looking in mirror. Note to self: Go to ENT, make them do another biopsy somethings wrong!  Four months later, throat, lymph nodes, most of tongue and entire floor of mouth removed! The doctor said and I quote, "At least this time they got a good biopsy." To say I'm angry that they missed it back then is putting it mildly. I'm now a Guiney pig for all the new and rising E.N.T. doctors at the local college....Be your own advocate and take charge of your health is my newly found wisdom unfortunately a little late.
