Hi I’m new here my daughter has cancer in the front of her head and stomach. She originally had it on her appendix and bladder, operation and chemo seemed to of cleared that but now has it in head and stomach. She has just had chemo again and radiation, the treatment has left her so week she struggles to walk and we have had to get crutches to help her. She has 18th month old twin daughters and is struggling to look after herself let alone them, so I have been staying at hers looking after them all. I’m so so worried that this treatment won’t work and I’m mentally and physically struggling. I also work and have to keep taking time off to look after her so I’m worried about loosing my job because of this, but obviously she needs me. I’m not sure if I can cope anymore
Hi Ann. So sorry to hear your news. Is your daughter’s cancer in her brain? I ask because there is a separate section for brain cancer.
You could look at a section for supporting somebody with cancer.
You’ll find other folk in a similar position to yours
Supporting someone with incurable cancer forum
And there is a carers section too
And Family and Friends
