Hi everybody,
I have just been diagnosed with tongue cancer on the base of my tongue. I haven't met my Oncologist yet, I see him on Tuesday, but my ENT specialist has told me that they think I will be best treated via chemoradiation.
Really I have just joined this group so that I can connect with people who have already gone or are also going down this route.
Thanks in advance

Ask anything no question is daft somebody will have an answer
I had base of tongue cancer and I’m 4 years cleat.
I have a blog linked at the bottom of this post. Some of it might help.
Please leave Google alone for now. It’s full of inaccurate and often alarming information
Hi again Kerry.
I avoided chemotherapy so there’s nothing about it there. There’s no doubt side effects are a little worse with it. Have a look at MarkEL his profile has a jolly good diary of his treatment
Hugs
