Hi all, where do i start. My brother was diagnosed last year with tongue cancer, he had it removed and his tongue re built with donor from his arm. He went through all that and completed 6 weeks of chemo, to now find out unfortunately it has spread to his neck, lung and spine! This is obviously not the news any of us wanted, and I’ve got to admit I am struggling! He has been told there is no cure just some prolonging treatment.

Sometimes there is hidden cancer right at the very beginning which is too small to be seen on scans.
Will he be getting immunotherapy?
Have you asked his oncologist if there are any trials he could be part of?

I’m not sure how he would feel about trials.
It’s worth asking though. There are some good results being reported.
