My Dad 77. metastatic prostate cancer,contained at the moment PSA 0.1 Had a tonsillectomy. Found caner,spread to lymph node.ENT consultant told him he will need a neck dissection,and take out the ccerous lump that was near his tonsils,with 2cm margin, including part of his tongue. Went for a pre-Op 3 months ago,was told there is something wrong with his heart and would probably need a pacemak before any surgery could happen. He had to go for tests on his heart. In the mean time,3 weeks ago,they text him on a Monday asking him to come for the neck dissection on Thursday.? The same week. thin an hour and a half,ENT rang my dad to cancel the Op,as there was a emergency. A week and a half went by. He had a text to have an appointment at ENT? Doctor look at his throat. Then proceeded tell my dad. There was nothing more they can do for him
They said,after Christmas,we can give you Radiation therapy,but don't think it will work!! Oh yes,the day had a letter from the heart doctor,saying there is nothing wrong with his heart ??. I am so confused,sad,angry. Help!!
