I was diagnosed with carcinoma of the left buccal mucosa last year. Had 31-day radiation therapy, chemo, surgery. Was just beginning to feel safe once in a while when the cancer reoccurred in September 2022.
I'm now being treated with chemo and immunotherapy. A large and growing fistula has opened up at the site of the tumor recurrence. What if anything can I do to control or impede the spread of the fistula?
