Hi everyone , I have been trying to get hold of my consultant since last Friday the pre assessment team contacted him, and 2 secretary's have messaged him and I do get they are busy and don't expect to speak directly to him.but why can't he answer my questions? Am I being unreasonable? At the moment I am so peed of I'm thinking of asking for a 2nd opinion .

Do you have a clinical nurse allocated to you? They should be your conduit.
What questions are you asking him?

No I don't have a nurse as I'm not diagnosed yet. Still waiting to hear back about if I can still have my surgery as I have a chest infection . Biopsy surgery is this Friday and I still have no idea if I'm allowed it or not.

The other questions were related to that really how long will I have to wait afterwards for a reschedule if it isn't done on Friday.

Yes you do need answers to that. All you can do is keep plugging away at the secretary. Seems a ooor show doesn’t it?
